As my project is about non-stereotypical Hip-Hop, I thought this image would be a great representation of this, without using the cliché images of what Hip Hop represents today, to show what my project is not. I have decided to go back to old skool associations within a modern environment, as my client represents old skool in today's society.

Whilst Crate Digging, we found an album cover called 'No Sell Out', which sums the whole project idea. He is not a sell out to what Hip Hop used to embody, its essence is what enables him to produce now, its his inspiration, its his belief, its vital elements help him to form his music today.

Possibly add more saturation to give the image more richness.

Hey guys the day went well, got a lot of footage, which will be kinda hard to edit down into 5 mins along with everything else I've filmed. I didn't realise this at the beginning but deciding what goes where and what to cut and what to keep is really stressful!!! I want to portray him exact to his character, but everything he say is so useful and interesting, it kinda hard. I'm worried that if i leave something out people won't get who he is, and this is important as it a biography for anyone interested in him and his music.

For this video I'm going not going for the polished look, more of a roar laid back, down to earth.

Anywayz I'll do the best i can, heres the images i took on the day.

Video (Live Biography) Synopsis

After a long discussions with Props, trying to find out who he is and what he is about, it has all boiled down to this, MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC and for some reason walking. He'd rather walk somewhere then take the bus if that somewhere is within West London, which isn't good for me if i have to tag along!!!!

One night i was on MSN at around 2am and he was online too.
-Why aren't you sleeping I asked, "I'm making music" he said. "Is this a regular thing then, working at 2am"? "yeah" he said.
He then spoke to me about how his mum always used to complain that he didn't know the difference between night and day. As he was always sleeping during the day and working on his music at night, this is when he felt most creative.He'd actually recorded this convo.

That's when the light bulb switched on!!!

This video will consist of footage from the studio, the creative hours ( walking journeys to his nightly hot spots), sunset/ cartoons/ still photography.

Addicted!!! - Second Photo Shoot

News just in!!!!

Mr Poser as I'm now calling him, has organisied a second photo shoot for himself and the rest of his "crew". Can't remember the actual date, but it will be on the the Saturday coming. I'm giving him my video camera, to take some raw footage of the day; hopefully something will come of it that i'll be able to incorporate into the Live Bio video.

When i get the pics i'll post them up.
